ABOUT THE TEAM

About the team - Justyna Simmons

Justyna Simmons

I moved to Paris for 1 year. Maximum 2. In 2007.

Graduating from a Business and Polytechnics School, I worked for 15 years as a Project Manager in the Automotive industry. I managed industrial relocations, moving automotive production plants between countries. That job taught me both how to be very well organized and how to manage complex international projects.

I am the co-founder of Your Friend in Paris. I’ve always wanted to create a company that makes people feel comfortable about the huge life change that each relocation can be. It is my passion to build a sustainable, inclusive and ethical business, while providing a good work life balance for my team and myself. All while putting our clients individual needs as a top priority.

David Simmons III

Born and raised in Virginia, USA and proud UVA graduate.

I moved to Paris in 2009. For 1 school year. I immediately launched Your Friend in paris and started managing properties for my fellow Americans. Switching to the relocations and expat services sector was second nature. I had already experienced & successfully navigated myself through the trials & tribulations faced by expats, as well as my clients for the properties I managed.

At YFiP I wear many hats: CFO, Immigration and Business Setup expert.

I am a living proof that you can make yourself a life, create a business and settle in Paris. And I am passing this message to our clients.

About the team - David Simmons

Elena Ferrari

Born and raised in the beautiful town of Genoa, Italy, I qualified as a lawyer in 2012 before hopping on a plane to Dubai, UAE, where I worked as a corporate legal advisor. Then la Ville Lumière called, and I moved to Paris at the end of 2013. I studied French law at La Sorbonne in Paris. In between (4 different apartments, arrondissements, and life), I relocated for a year to Singapore with 2 kids in tow

At YFiP I manage Real Estate projects, Social and Immigration procedures.

My clients appreciate me for finding “out of the box” solutions and breaking the French “catch 22”. I translate legal French in understandable English, with an Italian accent.

Arelys Ordonez

I originally come from Guatemala, but now I am happily living in the western suburbs of Paris. As an expat family, we have moved eight times between five countries over the span of three continents. I know, from first hand experience, all about the joys and challenges that come with international relocations with little ones. I’m here to make your move as smooth as possible. Let’s get you the best possible start to your new life in France!

At YFiP I am a Relocation Project Manager. To the amusement of my fellow colleagues I take pride in my color-coded project tasks and detailed reports I sending to our clients.

Liz Lenfantin

Born and raised in Richmond, Virgina, USA I came to France for 1 year.

Today- 20 years, 3 kids, and 1 French husband later – I am still here! In the meantime, I even managed to learn French AND get my health insurance. Still can’t tell which took longer…

At YFiP I am responsible for house visits and everything that happens next: connecting utilities and welcoming our clients to their new homes. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with our clients to make sure they feel welcomed by a good friend.

Daniel Meza

I’m a Chicagoan with Polish-Mexican blood in my veins. I came to Paris 7 years ago to follow my “la vie est belle” dream.

Like many – I wasn’t welcomed with open arms by the city of lights. It was tough love, but love nonetheless. I’m known by my colleagues as an avid smiler, a foodie who loves to cook, and my “Long-story-short” but never actually short stories.

At YFiP I am a relocation agent: during the house visits, I am our clients’ eyes, ears and even nose, giving them the honest report about the place they are about to live in. With a natural flow of communication, an understanding of your needs, a proactive attitude to any problem, and a great big smile, I am ready to help guide you with your move to Paris.
